NEW ZEALAND’s VISITOR VISAS
Visitor Visa allows you to visit New Zealand for pleasure, meet families, friends, study for a short course and short business trips.
If you belong to a ‘visa waiver country’, you need a visa to be able to travel to New Zealand. In order to obtain a New Zealand Visitor Visa, you must provide Immigration New Zealand an evidence that you have genuine reason to visit New Zealand. Regardless of the reason for your visit, enough evidence must be provided to prove that your visit is genuine. Apart from this, you need to produce proof about your good character. Citizens of some countries are not required to apply for a visa before arriving in New Zealand and will be granted a permit for 3 or 6 months on arrival.
